Climate change and natural disasters are critical issues that require immediate attention. Our poverty reduction activities aim to reduce burden, eliminate spatial isolation, and boost economic capability while also coordinating community climate change adaptation and resilience-building in informal settlements and marginalized communities by;

  1. Strengthening community capacities to respond to climate impacts and natural resource constraints.
  2. Strengthening community advocacy to good resource management and sustainable resource use, as well as increased transparency, access and rights for local communities.
  3. Promoting financial literacy and increasing access points for the poor to enable long-term economic growth for those working to break free from poverty and counter the negative impact of unforeseen crisis.
