Our Mission : Food, Education, Medicine
Social exclusion and marginalization are persistent challenges in many communities, particularly in urban informal settlements where youth often face intersecting barriers based on class, gender, disability, ethnicity, and migration status. In these environments, young people are not only underrepresented in leadership and development spaces but also experience isolation, stigma, and reduced access to recreational and educational opportunities that foster belonging and empowerment. Amid these challenges, sports emerge as a powerful, underutilized tool for driving social change. Sport is inherently inclusive—it transcends language, socio-economic differences, and cultural divides. It provides a common ground where individuals from different walks of life can interact, collaborate, and cultivate mutual respect. When intentionally designed, sports programs can challenge stereotypes, reduce discrimination, and build resilience, empathy, and trust among participants.
